Active Monitoring of Capture Stations

Altus Services staff remotely monitors every video or audio capture station to ensure all the applications and processes required to digitally record your event are turned on and being used properly. Additional monitoring is available to ensure unauthorized applications are not being used. Active monitoring can include:
  • CPU Usage
  • Application Monitoring
  • Remote desktop access
  • Active Alerting to Altus Services

Secure Capture and Transmission

Data from capture stations is transmitted via a secure private network, which is invisible to event user and firewalled, to video and presentations from capture stations to a centralized production hub for processing and uploading and posting for on-demand access.  Each connection is monitoring and interpreting data to ensure all of the data is being transmitted correctly over the private network. Failures in the data collection or transmission trigger alerts to Altus Services and Production staff. Files are checked for:

  • Empty or missing file
  • Asset catalog sync
  • File Size
  • Checksum
  • Automatic re-transmission

Image Preparation

Altus Services will work with your event managers to build the audio or video capture stations prior to the event, configure the equipment on site and train recording technicians.
